This event raises critical funds to sustain vital, underfunded community services that support children, youth, families, individuals in crisis, women, and seniors. Many of these services receive little or no government funding and rely on community support to remain accessible.
Whether you are walking for a child gaining confidence, a family rebuilding stability, someone facing a crisis, or a senior needing culturally appropriate care — your steps help ensure no one walks alone.
Together, we aim to raise $425,000 to strengthen our community and be there for people when support matters most.

2026 Walk with the Dragon in Stanley Park Raises Over $496,000!

We’re thrilled to share that this year’s event raised $496,000 — an incredible achievement made possible by the unwavering support of our community.
All proceeds will go directly toward supporting vital S.U.C.C.E.S.S. programs that promote the well-being of families, youth, women, and seniors across our communities.
With the theme “Stride for Every Generation,” over 3,000 participants, volunteers, sponsors, donors, performers, and community members came together in Stanley Park to celebrate community, inclusion, and impact.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated and supported this event. Your generosity and dedication help us continue building stronger communities for every generation.

The 41st Annual Walk with the Dragon has become one of BC’s largest fundraising events, bringing together hundreds of teams and thousands of participants to support S.U.C.C.E.S.S.
Join us on Sunday, July 19th, at Lumbermen’s Arch in Stanley Park for the walkathon.
Our fundraising goal this year is $425,000 to support vital S.U.C.C.E.S.S. programs.
The event kicks off at 9 am, led by the S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Dragon along scenic 3km and 7km routes through the park. Festivities await at Lumbermen’s Arch, including music, giveaways, live entertainment, and a Kids Zone with games.

Special Benefit for Walk Participants
All Walk participants will receive a special discounted voucher to the Vancouver Aquarium. This offer allows you, your family, and friends to enjoy an unforgettable marine experience while supporting vital community programs.
The voucher is valid from July 17 to July 21, 2026, and will be available for pick-up starting June 22, 2026 at S.U.C.C.E.S.S. offices across the region. Vouchers will also be available at the Walk event site on July 19 for participants.

Registration for Complimentary TransLink Compass Tickets & Free Shuttle Bus Service
We are proud to partner once again with TransLink to make it easier for everyone to join us. Complimentary TransLink Compass tickets will be provided to participants traveling from different parts of the city to Waterfront SkyTrain Station and connect to a free shuttle bus service directly to the event venue.
Free shuttle buses will run between Stanley Park and Waterfront SkyTrain Station on the event day—no registration or tickets required.

This year we are partnering with TransLink to help us bring our community together. TransLink will provide complimentary tickets to our participants to take the different SkyTrain lines from Coquitlam, Metrotown, Surrey and Richmond to Waterfront Station.
Free shuttle buses will be provided on the day of the event from Stanley Park to Waterfront Station. The outbound bus will run from 7am to 9:30am and the return bus will run from 11:30am to 2pm.
