Chair –Brandon Hui

Brandon is the Director & Nominee at Park Georgia Insurance Agencies, an insurance brokerage firm with a 40 year history in the Vancouver and BC market. He received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University, his CPA, CA designation during his time at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Toronto, and various insurance industry credentials in Hong Kong and Canada. Brandon has previously served on the Board of S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation from 2016 until 2023, with five of those years as Board Chair. He has served in various capacities across many of the Foundation’s key fundraising activities: Co-Chairing the Bridge to S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Gala, as well as Co-Chairing the Foundation Charity Golf Tournament. Brandon is actively involved in community work, including International China Concern (Canada), West Point Grey Baptist Church, VGH Gala Committee, and the Gary Dorman Memorial Golf Tournament.

Treasurer –Dan Nipp

Born and raised in the Greater Vancouver Area, Dan is a Chartered Professional Accountant who is currently an audit partner at KPMG LLP, a global professional services firm providing audit, tax and advisory services to a wide range of industries across Canada. Dan has been with KPMG LLP for over 15 years focused primarily on the real estate sector in providing financial statement audit and accounting advisory services. Dan also speaks at real estate industry events highlighting relevant accounting and financial matters to the industry. Dan has also contributed his time to a number of charitable organizations over the years such as United Way, Salvation Army, and Union Gospel Mission.

Immediate Past Chair –Jason Lam

Jason has been steadily involved with S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation beginning in 2011 as a member. Later he served as Board Vice Chair, first from 2013 to 2017, and then for a second time from 2020 to 2022. He served as the S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation Board Chair from 2022 to 2025. His volunteer work on behalf of the Foundation extends over many years to his work as Co-Chair of the Bridge to S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Gala in 2016, 2017, 2020-2022. Jason has also dedicated his time to organizing additional S.U.C.C.E.S.S. charity events, including acting as Co-Chair of the Foundation Charity Golf Tournament (2015), serving as Co-Chair of the S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation Charity Concerts (2012, 2013, 2015), and working as a member of the Walk with the Dragon Planning Committee (2011-2013 and 2015).

In addition to his deep volunteer commitment to S.U.C.C.E.S.S., Jason has been involved in community work with several non-profit organizations, including the BC Children’s Hospital, Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure and the United Way. He is a Charter Member of the Vancouver Chinatown New Century Lions Club, and has served the Lions as a Director, Vice President and President. In addition, he is the Founder and Co-Chair of the Lions Club Medal of Merit – Outstanding Young Leaders Award since 2013.

Director –Bill Bai

Bill is the Community General Manager at CIBC Imperial Service, overseeing a team of more than 20 advisors across five banking centers with a total of $5.2 billion in assets under management. Born and raised in Shanghai, China, Bill moved to Canada in 2001 and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University and an MBA from Dalhousie University. With over 15 years of progressive leadership experience in financial services, Bill is dedicated to community engagement, actively supporting fundraising initiatives for organizations such as BC Children’s Hospital and United Way. He currently serves as a board member and Treasurer for the Kerrisdale Business Association and recently contributed as a committee member for the 2025 S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Walk with the Dragon. Bill is passionate about leveraging his expertise to make a positive impact in the community.

Director –Irene Hsu

Irene is the Vice President of All Harmony Financial Service Ltd., bringing over a decade of expertise in mortgage services and a strong commitment to responsible lending. Holding a registered mortgage license in British Columbia and a degree in Actuarial Science from Simon Fraser University, she has a flawless record in risk mitigation and investment management. Irene previously served as Director and Vice President at Finca MIC, where her leadership contributed to high investment returns with zero bad debts.

In addition to her professional achievements, Irene has a diverse background, including her role as a Former Radio Show Host/Producer at Far East Broadcasting. She is also deeply involved in the community. As a teenager, she volunteered at St. Vincent Hospital in Vancouver, delivering meals and feeding patients, spreading love and care. Currently, she serves as the President of the Richmond Maple Mandarin Group at S.U.C.C.E.S.S., where she has volunteered for over 20 years. Her dedication to organizing community seminars and supporting new immigrants has made her a trusted and respected figure in Vancouver. Irene has served as Co-chair of the 2024 and 2025 S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Walk with the Dragon, reflecting her enduring commitment to community service.

Director –Dr. Linh Le

Linh is an Adjunct Professor and Entrepreneur In Residence at the University of British Columbia. He is a serial startup founder, with international experience, establishing Flextrapower, Bonbouton, Buyo Bioplastics and most recently Piezo Bio. Linh has also been a standing member for the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, as well as board of director with Nanomedicine Innovation Network of Canada. He was trained as a chemical engineer, with an MSc from Columbia University and a PhD from Stevens Institute of Technology, he is also a beholder of 12 world-wide patents ranging from material science to healthcare methodologies and automation systems. Linh has served on the S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation Board of Directors since 2021.

Director –Stephanie Li

Stephanie is the Founder and CEO of Spotlight West Communications and an award-winning public relations and communications strategist, known for her expertise in business consulting, cross-cultural communications, and global campaign leadership. With over 15 years of experience across the private, public, and non-profit sectors in North America and Asia, she specializes in brand positioning, media relations, and strategic growth initiatives.

Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia, and went on to complete the General Management program at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business and Master’s in Management at Harvard University.

An active and committed community leader, Stephanie has served on the boards of Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden, Chimo Community Services, and Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO). At the S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation, she is a member of the Board of Directors and served as Co-Chair for the 2023 Bridge to S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Gala. She is also a founding partner and advisor for The Eyeglasses Project, a non-profit providing free vision care to underserved and marginalized communities in Vancouver.

Director –Gallant Ma

 Gallant is the Regional Director of Finance at Dilawri Group of Companies, the largest automotive group in Canada.  He received the Bachelor of Commerce degree in University of Toronto and completed Master of Business Administration degree in University of British Columbia.  Having CPA, CA and MBA professional credentials, along with numerous years of experiences in financial analysis, change management and strategic development, Gallant would like to bring positive differences to the communities through sharing his experience and skills earned.  With this passion, Gallant devotes to the communities through numerous aspects.  Currently, he serves as a board member at Richmond Music School and volunteers as a CPABC judge for business case competitions.  In addition, Gallant is a news host and commentator for various news programs at local Chinese media.

Director –Kevin Ma

Kevin is a proven leader with over 25 years of experience in banking and a strong commitment to building inclusive, thriving communities. He brings extensive leadership expertise and a passion for community service to his involvement with the S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation, supporting programs that empower newcomers, seniors, and families to achieve long-term success.

Throughout his career at Scotiabank, Kevin has been recognized for leading high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, and driving results. For the past five years, he has served as the campaign lead for the bank’s BC Children’s Hospital Foundation initiatives, championing fundraising efforts that provide essential support to children and families in need.

Kevin is also passionate about mentorship, having volunteered at multiple job fairs for newcomers to provide interview feedback and coaching to help them succeed in the workforce.

Director –Justin Tang

Justin is a socially conscious entrepreneur with a strong track record of community engagement and youth empowerment. Over the past five years, he has led initiatives that blend creativity with social impact, including a collaboration with the City of Vancouver and BC Housing to develop an educational escape room that raises awareness about homelessness—featured in the Vancouver Sun. Through his companies, Justin regularly supports nonprofits by offering complimentary experiences to youth groups and organizing events that promote community values.

With over a decade of experience in entertainment and youth engagement, Justin brings a forward-thinking approach to fundraising and outreach. He plans to contribute to the S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation by developing innovative, experience-driven events and leveraging his media expertise to attract younger donors and amplify the Foundation’s mission. His work has earned him the Innovative Business Award, underscoring his commitment to impactful, community-focused leadership.

Director –Eugene Tseng

Eugene is a senior public servant, having served in various roles in the Government of British Columbia and the California State Legislature. Eugene also has extensive volunteer and non-profit board experience, including as a board director of Progressive Housing Society (2020 – Present) and a member of Burnaby Hospital Foundation’s Fundraising Committee (2019 – 2023).

Before returning to B.C., Eugene was twice elected to the Westwood Neighbourhood Council in Los Angeles, representing 50,000 residents, during which he championed community priorities, collaborated with government agencies, and provided policy advice to the Los Angeles City Council.

As the son of an immigrant woman from Taiwan, who came to Canada with just her children, Eugene deeply appreciates the services that S.U.C.C.E.S.S. provides in helping newcomers settle in B.C. Eugene holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Columbia University in the City of New York.
